Twitter
Twitter, by far, is the most rewarding and time consuming of all the social media platforms. With a single Twitter promote, you can literally double the amount of followers that you have as well as triple the amount of leads.
National University
National University's Twitter feed was an interesting mix of educators, administrators and other higher education institutions. I quickly learned, however, that adding job search and career tip sites was also important to our audience. When added to the social paid mix, Twitter regularly accounted for approximately 9% of total leads no matter what the campaign. Pretty impressive for 140 characters.
Washington Spa Alliance
As the Director of Ecommerce for the Washington Spa Alliance, I was responsible for maintaining the group's social media presence. So I created a Twitter account for them and used Hootsuite to tweet relevant spa, health, and wellness information for them. I was very lucky to have worked with such an amazing group of spa and wellness professionals!
